Trivia[]
- After this book was released, Kelly Parra confirmed that Alone Together was her final FNaF story.
- Dittophobia is the fear of repetition, symbolising what Rory was subjected to for a decade by William Afton.
- In the story, Rory is haunted by the nightmare animatronics in the FNaF 4 bedroom. When he finds out the "house" that he was kept in was fake, he also discovers that the animatronics were just statues that were connected to tracks on the floor, and that hallucinogenic gas made them appear to be real. This confirms that the nightmares are fake.
- It also debunks the nightmares having illusion discs.
- After discovering a room filled with gas tanks that were the cause of his visions, he finds a hallway that leads to the Sister Location underground facility, confirming that William Afton used the location for experimentation.
- At the end of the story, when Rory hears a message from William Afton telling him to accept his state and never leave, Rory reveals that the message is pre-recorded and that it has made him stay before. This implies that the story takes place after Afton was springlocked. This also explains why the "house" is left in disarray.
- This story likely takes place before Sister Location due to the Funtimes not being scooped.
- A theory that began after this story was revealed is that Rory is the runaway kid in Midnight Motorist and that the Yellow Man could be his dad.
