Funtime Freddy is one of the seven animatronics in Sister Location. He is an entertainer in Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals.
History[]
Funtime Freddy was created by Afton Robotics, more specifically William Afton, supposedly to entertain children, but was programmed to lure and kill children, fitted with a proximity sensor for "grouping coordination", parental tracking, a voice mimic, and a storage tank in his stomach. It is possible at some point that Freddy did end up having a victim possessing him, or was injected with Remnant from Afton's previous victims.
Sister Location[]
Funtime Freddy first appears in the Breaker Room on Night 2 of Michael Afton's shift, due to him having to restart the rental facility's power manually. Funtime Freddy noticed that there was someone there, and began heading towards him. While Michael reboots the systems, he keeps Freddy at bay by playing the "mascot response audio", which is actually the Bonnie puppet "Bon Bon"'s voice. The following day, due to “unforeseen malfunctions”, it became necessary for technicians to remove Freddy’s power module. Freddy is implied to have attacked them, leaving the job for Michael.
Funtime Freddy is powered down in Night 3, appearing in the Parts and Service room, on a conveyor belt waiting to be taken to the Scooping Room and get "scooped". Michael locates each button on Freddy's face in the order given by HandUnit. Once Michael presses the button, there is a short jumpscare-like sequence of Funtime Freddy's face suddenly opening with a crashing metallic sound. Michael then has to find the small button beneath Freddy's endoskeleton jaw, opening the chest cavity and repeating the metallic sound. Michael must pick up the control module on Freddy's chest. HandUnit says they must find Bon Bon and press the button beneath his bowtie, in order to release the secondary control module. After this Freddy's endoskeleton is scooped and becomes part of Ennard.

In the lead up to FNaF 6's release, the websites ScottGames and FNaFWorld hosted a conversation in their source code: an argument within the hive mind of Ennard between Baby and the other Funtimes. The Funtimes, whose lines were given on Scottgames, argue against Baby, whose lines were given on FNaFWorld, about her place as leader of the Funtimes. The conversation leads to the other Funtimes ejecting Baby from Ennard's body. Funtime Freddy is depicted as having the last line on the Ennard side of the argument.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator[]
It transpires that Funtime Freddy becomes the dominant AI in Ennard, becoming Molten Freddy.
Help Wanted[]
Funtime Freddy, along with Bon Bon and Bonnet, feature as game characters in the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience.
FNaF AR: Special Delivery[]
A copy of Funtime Freddy is created to be part of the Fazbear Funtime Service, but due to corruption by a virus, becomes hostile to players.
Help Wanted 2[]
A virtual version of Funtime Freddy appears in a simulation of the Breaker Room, functioning similarly to how he did in Sister Location Night 2. He also appears alongside Funtime Chica and Funtime Foxy in the Funtime Spree level, reprising his mechanics from Sister Location's Custom Night.
Gameplay[]
Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location[]
Funtime Freddy first appears in the Breaker Room on Night 2. The objective of the night is to turn on the building's power while avoiding Freddy as he sneaks up on the player. This is done by opening a monitor panel to reboot each system individually and slowly. There is a "Danger Level" on the top right corner of the screen that indicates how fast Funtime Freddy is advancing towards the player; when it is a single green bar, Funtime Freddy will retreat until he reaches his starting position. The player must counter this by closing the monitor panel if necessary and playing a mascot voice that tells him that the player is not there. If Funtime Freddy reaches the player and they have the monitor panel raised, he will jumpscare them, resulting in a Game Over.
While Funtime Freddy is deactivated on Night 3, he still has to be interacted with by pressing various buttons on his face to activate the faceplates, and then pressing a button on his lower jaw to open his chest.
Custom Night[]
In the Custom Night Funtime Freddy never directly attacks the player. Instead Freddy will hide in either the West or East Closet, and throw Bon Bon at the player. If you hear him say "Bon Bon, go get him!", shut the door on the side he's on. If you hear him say "Get ready for a surprise!", shut the door on the opposite side he's on. If you shut the correct door in time, then you'll hear a soft 'thud' and it will be safe to open the door. If you fail to shut the door or shut the wrong door, then Bon Bon will jumpscare you.
Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted[]
Funtime Freddy along with Bon Bon and Bonnet feature as game characters in the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience. He appears in the first Night Terrors level, approaching from the right hallway while Bon Bon approaches from the left. The player wards off Freddy by either flashing their light if he's at the far end of the hall or holding the door shut if he's at the door. Failure to repel him leads to a fatal jumpscare. It is also possible to encounter him in Dark Rooms in the Funtime Foxy level in blacklight mode.
Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery[]
Initially, Funtime Freddy functions identical to Freddy Fazbear. His only main difference is that he moves faster when charging, and has a short haywire timer. However, upon shocking him, an encounter against Bon Bon will begin.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2[]
Funtime Freddy is the main antagonist of the Breaker Room minigame.
Five Nights at Freddy's novels[]
The Fourth Closet[]
Funtime Freddy appears as a minor antagonist. He has noticeably a darker purple color instead of a magenta one, and gets destroyed by John in the process of chasing him. Also, Bon Bon is missing entirely.
Fazbear Frights[]
A version of Funtime Freddy appears as the main antagonist of Count the Ways. He kidnaps a teen named Millie, and gives her options in order for her to choose her own demise. Bon Bon is once again missing.
Appearance[]
Funtime Freddy has white plastic skin to replace his fur. His ears, stomach, joints, muzzle, and cheeks are all a magenta pink colour. He has a small black top hat and bow tie; below that on his chest is a speaker followed by two buttons. Funtime Freddy has blue eyes. On Funtime Freddy's right hand is a Bonnie hand puppet called Bon Bon, and in the other hand he holds a microphone.
Personality[]
Funtime Freddy is rambunctious, exuberant, playful, deranged, and highly strung. He sounds and talks like a lively children's entertainer, like a very camp, effeminate clown. He is prone to laughing and stuttering, and he had a notably angrier tone of voice during the custom night. For all his affability, he seems to show genuine malice in taunting his victims. His Fazbear Frights counterpart is openly twisted and sadistic, gleefully taunting Millie.

Trivia[]
- In his blueprints, Funtime Freddy is revealed to be 6 feet tall and weigh 350 lbs. He is seen to have a stomach that functions as a 'storage tank' that can contain a child.
- As well as this, his hat has a "Proximity Sensor/Group Coordination" and he has a "voice Mimic/Luring" function.
- One thing to keep in mind is that his storage tank is actually only able to hold a child up to 3 feet tall, sitting down. Any taller, and the child wouldn't be able to fit in his torso at all.
- Funtime Freddy is implied to be the most violent animatronic in Sister Location, as, when Michael is asked to remove the power module, HandUnit implies Freddy beat up the previous technicians so badly, they need 6 to 8 weeks of physical therapy.
- Despite being excluded from the roster of Ultimate Custom Night, Funtime Freddy appears in the Sister Location office skin, using his design from the cover of The Fourth Closet.
- There were beta sounds that have been found in the code to be Funtime Freddy's voice lines.
- Unlike the final voice, these lines were recorded with a German accent. This is because Funtime Freddy was once German before release, which Kellen Goff demonstrated on GTLive.
Special Delivery[]
- Despite being one of the first post-launch additions teased, Funtime Freddy took just under two years to be released; He was first teased on January 1st, 2020, appearing in a promotional render alongside Lefty.
- In addition, files for both him and Lefty could be seen in the files during the earlier parts of the Dark Circus event.
Molten Freddy appears in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator as the titular antagonist. It is the remnants of Ennard controlled by Funtime Freddy. It is the combined form of Ballora, Funtime Freddy, Bon Bon, and Funtime Foxy, with a mask and voice resembling Funtime Freddy's pointing that he controls the entity.

By the time of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, Ennard had transformed into Molten Freddy.
Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator[]
By this point, Molten Freddy possibly contained the most Remnant of all the remaining animatronics (according to an unused blueprint file), likely caused by the Scooper's usage as a Remnant injector. Presumably being among the animatronics attempting to break in for "months", Molten Freddy ended up in the Back Alley of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place, trying to get inside. The pizzeria's operator, widely believed to be Michael Afton, salvages him on Monday. After the salvage, Freddy then says:
Thanks for letting me join the pa-arty, I-I'll try no-o-ot to disappoint.
From Tuesday onwards, or starting on any day if he sneaks inside through other means, Molten Freddy hunts Michael in the vents, trying to kill him to get to the children in the pizzeria. He can be heard mainly laughing within the vents. Michael lures him and the other animatronics with sounds of children, and using his office's resources to fight against them. On Saturday, during the Completion Ending, Molten Freddy is burned with the others, presumably releasing the souls and/or Remnant imprisoned within him. It is possible, however, that what is left of him after the fire becomes part of the Tangle.

A brightened version of Molten Freddy's alley screen.
- A yellowish-orange eye that belongs to Funtime Foxy.
- A magenta eye that belongs to Bon Bon.
- A sapphire blue eye that belongs to Funtime Freddy.
- A purple eye that belongs to Ballora.
Personality[]
After Funtime Freddy's time as Ennard and becoming Molten Freddy, his personality turns from playful and eccentric to completely psychopathic and murderous. Despite not being as sinister as William Afton, Molten Freddy is no doubt the most bloodthirsty of the antagonists, laughing maniacally as he moves through the vents and constantly mocking Michael and his 'reunion' with his father and sister.

Trivia[]
- Molten Freddy laughing in the vents could be a reference to Freddy Fazbear's laughter in the first Five Nights at Freddy's.
- Molten Freddy has a blueprint of his mask in the game files. It is in the same format as the Insanity Ending blueprints, but does not appear in-game.
- The blueprint states that there are security tags for the Funtime animatronics active within Molten Freddy.
- It also states that Molten Freddy has the most Remnant of all of the animatronics called to the Pizzeria Simulator location.
- It is unclear whether Funtime Freddy is the only AI within Ennard at this point as the other Animatronics within Ennard do not indicate they still function. On the other hand, in the unused Insanity Ending blueprint, the security tags of the other three Funtimes are as functional as Funtime Freddy's, and the former animatronics didn't speak often while the latter animatronic did not speak at all in Sister Location, when they were definitely still active.
- It is also unclear whether Molten Freddy is haunted, as he still acting as Funtime Freddy, but Henry's speech implies that there are souls in Freddy. With the reveal of Remnant, it is entirely possible that if there are souls, they are not in control, and are merely trapped.
- The unused Insanity ending blueprint also mentions Molten Freddy having the most amount of Remnant, thus requiring his destruction.
- This, however, does not indicate that Molten Freddy is possessed, as remnant and souls can exist without the other.
- The unused Insanity ending blueprint also mentions Molten Freddy having the most amount of Remnant, thus requiring his destruction.
- If you buy the Discount Ball Pit on Monday, Molten Freddy is replaced by the wooden sign, hinting that he hides in the Discount Ball Pit.
- Although Molten Freddy's mask bears some resemblance to Funtime Freddy's, several things are different, including it having no blush, having a molten brown texture instead of a mauve purple one, the hat lacking a stripe, lighter color on the jaw, etc., pointing to it being a different mask.
- Molten Freddy's eye surprisingly changes color.
- Yellow for the Rare Death Screen and for his Custom Night Icon
- Orange for Salvage attack
- Red for the Office attack
- Black for Salvage Neutral
- One possibility is that the eye color indicates what "state" Molten Freddy is in.
- Black/off when he is dormant/inactive.
- Yellow when he is active
- Orange when he is attacking without intent to kill
- Red when he is attacking to kill (though if this is the case, then his eye color in his UCN jumpscare is an error)
- Another possibility is that the eye color shows which animatronic has control at that given time, tinting towards the eyes of the controlling animatronic.
- Ballora could be represented by the black neutral eye color, referencing the way she has her eyes almost always closed.
- Red would be closer to Pink, showing Bon Bon's pink/magenta eyes.
- Orange would be showing Funtime Foxy, being closer to his amber eyes.
- Yellow ends up showing Funtime Freddy, with the implication through Yenndo and The Fourth Closet that Funtime Freddy originally had yellow eyes.
- One possibility is that the eye color indicates what "state" Molten Freddy is in.
- Molten Freddy refers to himself as "he" even though he's a fusion of the Funtimes.
- The Faz-Force in Help Wanted 2 could be interpreted as a parallel to Molten Freddy, though due to The Puppet's inclusion in the wave, this must be taken with a grain of salt.
