The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience is a virtual reality game created by Fazbear Entertainment, and is the in-universe version of Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted.

Main Hub[]

Intro[]

The Intro Sequence ride is played when the game is first started. The intro sequence introduces HandUnit welcoming the player to the game. He mentions Fazbear Entertainment's bad reputation, and says that the game is inspired by the "childish ghost stories". The ride also shows multiple photographs concerning the rumours of it, such as the Animatronics and Locations. After the summary is given, the player is then presented with a virtual liability waiver which the player must agree to in order to continue.

Level Select[]

After the intro, the player is taken to the Main Hub, where the player can select seven game modes to play through. The game modes include:

  • FNaF 1
  • FNaF 2
  • FNaF 3
  • Dark Rooms
  • Parts and Service
  • Dark Rooms
  • Night Terrors

As well as this, the player can also access the Prize Counter, the other main part of the hub, at the back of the hub. That being said, the Tape Room can be accessed after locating the hidden tape player. The Gallery can be accessed after the player has "completed" the game by playing through the Pizza Party level of Night Terrors.

Blacklight Switch[]

The Blacklight Switch switches the game between the normal level selection menu and the Blacklight menu. The Blacklight menu contains a revised Level Select with altered and/or more difficult levels. Blacklight Mode, along with the levels accessed from this version of Level Select, have a blacklight color scheme which is present everywhere with the exception in the Tape Room and the Gallery.

After being unlocked, the Tape Room can only be accessed from the Blacklight Menu by interacting with the glitching cassette player on top of the Faz Token counter.

History[]

The game, in canon, was released in order to hide the bad press concerning the defacing stories spread by some "complete lunatic". These stories had, according to HandUnit, been reformatted to be funny and distributed for entertainment. It was worked on by Silver Parasol Games's development team, made up of Dale, Tape Girl, and Jeremy. To aid with pathfinding, old computer chips from the animatronics was scanned into the game's circuit boards. However, this had the side effect of creating a sentient virus, modelled on William Afton, who began influencing Jeremy, to the point where he had to be fired.

Left to work on the game for the next three days, if only to keep up appearances until the company was bought out, Tape Girl discovered the virus, and left hidden logs in the game to warn the next development team. However, after realising that the virus had attached itself to her logs, she used a fragmentation program to split the logs into pieces, along with the virus.

At some point, during a playthrough, the player found themselves encountering the virus, as well as the logs. Acting on Tape Girl's advice, when the virus attempted to merge with the player, they used a hard restart in an attempt to flush the games memory and destroy the virus.
