- Blackbird was initially meant to release on September 29th, before being delayed.
- It is unknown if the original release date was intentional or an error.
- Prior to the release of the book, the main character, Blackbird, was theorized to be organic; However, after the release, this was quickly disproven.
- Shadow Bonnie is the only character in the book to not be original to the Fazbear Frights series.
- This is, however, only if we count Foxy from the epilogue as the one from Step Closer.
- The Real Jake, provides a proper origin for Stitchwraith's mask.
- It also explains the blood as being pizza sauce.
- In The Real Jake, Jake is stated to have an uncle named Michael.
