The Ancient Equinox event is an event featured in Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, featuring some new counterparts to face off against.
The animatronics within this event have a combination between a Mayan and Aztec theme.

- The Ancient Equinox event is the first event based on a civilization.
- It is also the first event to be based on a historical group.
- While Catrina Toy Chica is based on Mexican culture, she was only one skin within the event.
- This event is the first to introduce a Pseudo-skin.
- Curse, a skin for Springtrap, is treated as if he's separate from Springtrap.
- Curse does not contain Springtrap in his name, and can in some renders appear almost skeletal...

- Serpent Mangle is the second skin Mangle got.
- Strangely, this addition means that all of the introduced characters from the second game have Nature-based skins;
- Serpent Mangle has a feather-like flower right below where her head is.
- Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, and Balloon Boy have Woodland Toy Freddy, Boulder Toy Bonnie, and Swamp BB from the haunted forest event, respectively.
- Catrina Toy Chica features a theme closer to that of the Dead, but also features flowers on her head, providing two nature-based themes.
- It should be noted that Balloon Boy is the only character from the second game to have gotten a Nature skin as his First skin, rather than the second.
- However, as The Puppet and the Withereds aren't introduced as of the event, this is possible to change.
